Our Pastor...
Llewellyn E. Terry, Sr. was born June 30, 1956 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Rev. A. William Terry and Mrs. Romanetha Terry.  He attended public school in Pine Bluff and Arkadelphia, graduating from Arkadelphia High School.  He surrendered to the call of the gospel ministry to preach in 1982 and was licensed and ordained in the ministry at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in 1983, under the pastorate of his father.  He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion from Ouachita Baptist University in 1986.  In May of 1990, he received a Masters of Divinity degee from he Southern Baptist Theological Siminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  

Rev. Terry accepted God's call to pastor Mt. Olive Baptit Church in June of 1992 and was installed as pastor on the fourth Sunday in August of that year.  Part of his vision for the Mt. Olive family includes a 365-day prayer ministry that encompasses the entire church and a strong Bible study/Christian Education program.  Pastor Terry is a firm believer in the words of the hymn, "Only What You Do For Christ Will Last."  This hymn was sung every Sunday morning during his first year as pastor.  As a preacher of the gospel, he strives to be a champion for the cause of righteousness and justice for all persons as it relates to the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  "The spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (Luke 4:18, NIV)
Rev. Arnold J. Lewis, Associate Pastor
Pastor Lewis is a knowledgeable teacher that encourages everyone to stay the course through all of life's trials and tribulation. 

He was Ordained in 1982, at Living Hope MB Church. He graduated from Governors St. University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981.and in 1983 from Moody Biible Institute.

He spent 22 years in the United States Army. After that he worked for the Chicago Board of Education from 1968 to 1981. 

In 1982 shortlly after being ordained he accepted an assignment to work for the Dept. of the Army Dependent schools in Munich, Germany where he became the Pastor of the Munich Gospel Service. Stayed there for 4 years and came back to the states to work in the Chicago Board of Education school system once more, until he received another assignment to Stuttgart, Germany where he became the Pastor of Patch United Fellowship Gospel Service for 10 years.
